David gained a degree in mechanical engineering before working in The City for a number of years. The qualities he needed back then have served him well since he started Sorrell Landscapes almost 20 years ago. To his love and wide knowledge of plants and gardening he adds a flair for practical problem-solving and a fastidious attention to detail. All of which helps him to create beautiful landscaping and gardens - and ensure he brings them in on time and within budget.
He lives in Nunhead with his wife, Janet, who collaborates with him on the garden design and planting aspect of the business. Janet, who uses her maiden name as an artist, has her own website here: janetjohnsonart.co.uk/
